DJ Alex Ramos hails from Venezuela and moved to Miami, FL in the mid-nineties. His love of house, techno, tribal and circuit music is what drives him to pursue his career in music and produce his own unique style. He is influenced by many great talents such as Peter Rauhofer, Victor Calderone, Hex Hector and Alain Jackinsky to name a few.
Alex has had the pleasure to spin at various clubs on Miami beach such as Mansion, Palace and Score. He has also played at Heart Nightclub, Mekka, Level 1 & Level 2. He also has DJ’d SAVE’s annual Halloween Ball for several years. He currently has a residency at Alibi’s in Fort Lauderdale where he spins the third Saturday of every month and a new residency in Miami at The Social.
Outside of Miami, he has played at numerous venues around the world. To name a few: Hydrate (Chicago), Espaço 555 (São Paulo), Station 1640 – Reload, Catch One & Los Globos – DILF (LA), Purple Foundation (Dallas), DF Dance Floor (Mexico City), Bauhaus (Houston), Copa (Palm Springs), Tracks (Denver), Wish Lounge & Heretic (Atlanta), CC Slaughter & Industry (Puerto Vallarta)
Alex spends most of his time in the studio producing new music and creating new remixes for labels such as Big Mouth Music, Queer House Music, Gonna Be Music, Atlantic Jaxx Recordings and most recently Rejoin Records. His productions have been well received by many DJs around the world. You can expect to hear one of his remixes at most circuit festivals or gay clubs.
